Bio 

I was born and raised in Wyoming. The only time I have lived out of state was during College and Basic training. I studied accounting in college and held numerous jobs before becoming a Wyoming Highway Patrolman. A position I held for 28 years.

I am a registered Republican but wish we could vote any party in all elections. 

What do you believe are the top issues facing your town? 

I believe the top issues facing Manderson are that our town is ready for a change, both in financial responsibility and making sure all residents have a voice in town decisions.

With changes in property taxes creating tighter municipal budgets, what would your priorities be with potentially limited funding? 

Just like a personal budget we need to prioritize a list of needs and wants, recognizing the difference in those needs and wants.

What is your stance on government transparency, including public notices, open meetings, public records, and communication with the press?

Government officials are elected to serve their community and need to be transparent. Public notifications, meetings, records and communications with the press are of utmost importance so the community served can be fully informed on all issues.

How do you plan to weigh decisions that could benefit your personal businesses or goals from those that benefit the town overall? 

I am retired so there should not be any conflicts. If there are, I will abstain from voting. 

I can see that Manderson needs to work together to become a more caring community, one that serves everyone in the community. I will do my best to help this happen. This will, of course, take the support of every community member. I know that one person can’t accomplish anything alone.
