Think attending the Washakie Museum’s 1776 The Musical last week and the amazing fireworks show in DC on Saturday has a influenced this week›s quote. So to make it more personal…What can we do for our community? 

Mom and her great grandson Gabe Keisel waved a giant sparkler on Saturday night. Mom stated how blessed we are to live in the U.S.A. She is right. 

The Big Horn County Fair parade is August 1. The entry deadline is July 27. Email us if you would like a form. 

Chamber membership meeting this Thursday at noon. Lunch provided by Smokin Good Cream Cheese. Meatball sandwiches, cucumber salad, potato salad and more. Please RSVP for a food count.

• Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site: July 11, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. It’s going to be hot, hot, hot! A perfect day to come out to the park and play in the water! Also, The Wyoming Mermaid will be making an appearance at the park during the event. Bring your friends and family for a day of fun in the sun!

• Basin First Baptist: Summer playdates on the playground, Wednesday, 9 -11 a.m. No Church Service on July 12. Meet instead at the Greybull Community Church (formally the Presbyterian Church.
