“Christmas lights bring out the childlike wonder hiding in the hearts of adults.” Unknown

Oh, my stars, the lights around town are looking great. Thank you to everyone who put theirs up.  The staff at the REA gets a shout out for putting up all those lights on the coldest day. They look great. The best part was watching the REA ladies lasso the trees out front with the lights.

Reminder for those of you on the main streets; if you need help putting some up, we can help. I borrowed all the solar lights from my house to put up around town. So, the chamber ordered more solar lights that should be in this week. (I’ll be taking mine back to our home as so many of you have given me grief about no Christmas lights at our place!!) We have given out tons of lights this year to those needing them to light up their business/homes.

Santa’s Bazaar is December 13, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Basin. A lot of fun vendors for sure. We have room for a few more.  Please email basinchamber@gmail.com or call 307-272-6844.

Congrats to parade winners the Rebel’s Asphalt, the Rebel Cheerleaders and Medicine Lodge Archaeological Site. A HUGE thank you to the three judges who braved the cold!
