The suds will be flowing on the west end of Greybull Avenue Saturday evening during the Big Horn County Brewfest, sponsored by the Greybull Area Chamber of Commerce.

Josiah Mizell, a member of the chamber board, has spent the last several weeks organizing the event. “Everything’s a go,” he said earlier this week.

The Brewfest will run from 5 to 9 p.m. and feature live music by The Rewinders, food trucks, games including stein hoisting, cornhole and beer-pong and a bouncehouse for the kids.

The event is free to attend, but donations will be accepted.

If you wish to sample the beers, you must purchase a glass and a wristband for $30, which will entitle you to unlimited samples.

Connect Beverage, the distributor, will be bringing a trailer capable of running up to 12 taps.  The featured brewers will be Ten Sleep Brewing Company and Cody Craft Brewing.

Mizell said the chamber changed up the event after last year, opting to incorporate a bounce house, change the name to something more inclusive and move it back downtown after several years in the park.

A limited number of event T-shirts will be available for purchase.

“My vision, when they asked me to coordinate it, was to keep this a family-friendly outing for everyone,” said Mizell. “That’s why we brought in the bounce house.

“We believe it’s going to be a great community event, and one that everyone should want to participate in.”
