Wyoming Office of Tourism coming to Big Horn County

Chamber lunch meeting, April 9, noon. Lunch is spaghetti and French bread from Copper Corner Cafe plus Smokin Good Cream Cheese spreads for the bread. 

In May, two staffers from the Wyoming Office of Tourism will spend some time in our county. Linda Morrison from the Lovell Chamber will be showing them around her end of the county. The Basin and Greybull chambers will show them some of the sites at this end of the county. In June, the new Director of the Office of Tourism will also be coming to learn more about our county and how they can best help us promote responsible tourism/outdoor rec. Stay tuned.

 • Big Horn County Library: Book sale starts April 6. New/used books and puzzles. Dinos the original raptors program at the Washakie Museum, April 16, 2 pm. 

• Town of Basin:  Regular Council Meeting, April 9, 7 p.m. 

 • Greybull Rec: They need bottle caps for an upcoming craft for a Recycled Craft Workshop, April 17, 1-2 p.m. at the Greybull Public Library. 

 • Basin City Arts Center: Saturday, April 11 BCAC Soup, Salad and Talent Show Soup and Salad Supper 5-6:30 pm, $6 per person or $25 immediate family. 6:30 p.m. Talent Show - Free Will Donation. All Ages of Local Talent Welcome. Contact Deanne Jensen if you would like to perform or donate soups or salads to support the BCAC. 307-568-2210.  • BHC GOP: Regular Meeting Monday, April 13, 7 p.m. at the BHC Weed and Pest Building. Discussion concerning State Convention Business, fair activities, Lincoln Day Dinner. WY GOP State Convention is April 23-25 in Douglas at the State Fairgrounds. Registered Republicans encouraged to attend and participate.

• St. Andrews:  Neat Repeat Store, April 11, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
