The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
Jan. 13 — A traffic complaint was taken at the Overland on North Fourth Street.
An officer assisted DFS on South Eighth Street.
An officer reviewed property damage at the PD.
Extra patrol was done at the Riverside Middle/High School.
Jan. 14 — A VIN inspection was done at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office (BHCSO).
Extra patrol was done at the Riverside Middle/High School.
Jan. 15 — Information was received on South Sixth Street.
An accident occurred on North Fourth Street. The driver was injured. A report was taken.
A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO.
Russell Clayton Driscoll was booked for battery-non domestic.
Jan. 16 — An officer assisted a member of the public at the BHCSO.
A VIN inspection was done at the Riverside Middle/High School.
Two VIN inspections were done at BHCSO.
Information was taken at the PD.
An officer was at the school for community relations for the wrestling match.
Jan. 17 — A school zone patrol was done.
A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO.
The public was assisted by an officer at the BHCSO.
A school zone patrol was done.
A business check was done at the Overland Express Mart.
Jan. 18 — Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
Jan. 19 — A business check was done at the Overland Express Mart.
An officer assisted the Greybull PD on a domestic dispute.

Jan. 13 — 8:46 a.m.: Multiple VIN inspections occurred in Basin.
12:03 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.
12:18 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Basin.
1:06 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.
2:23 p.m.: A wallet was turned in at the Sheriff’s offices and returned to its owner.
4:47 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.
5:35 p.m.: Deputies assisted another agency from Carbon County, Mont., following reports of a vehicle stuck in the snow.
Jan. 14 — 5:24 a.m.: Suspicious vehicles were reported in Greybull.
10:50 a.m.: Livestock was reportedly loose on the highway in Shell.
12:57 p.m.: Deputies responded to reports of threats being made in Manderson. A report was taken, which documented the reporting party’s claims.
3:18 p.m.: Multiple VIN inspections occurred in Basin.
Jan. 14 — 5:48 p.m.: Livestock was reportedly loose on the highway in Shell.
6:19 p.m.: Officers participated in community relations at the Basin Recreation Center.
10:27 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.
Jan. 15 — 8:13 a.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Basin.
8:45 a.m.: Deputies attended a Law Enforcement Appreciation event at Northwest College in Powell.
10:12 a.m.: Deputies assisted the Basin Police Department.
1:37 p.m.: A REDDI report concerning a vehicle travelling on Highway 20 South through Manderson was received by dispatch.
3:46 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.
5:00 p.m.: Deputies assisted a member of the public in returning horses to their pasture in Greybull.
5:01 p.m.: A dropped 9-1-1 call was received in Greybull.
8:41 p.m.: A REDDI report concerning a vehicle travelling through Basin.
9:32 p.m.: Deputies assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol in Basin.
10:39 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A citation was issued.
Jan. 16 — 9:27 a.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Basin.
9:49 a.m.: Deputies assisted the Department of Family Services in Burlington.
12:05 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.
5:43 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.
6:07 p.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Basin. The motorist told deputies she had stopped her vehicle in the emergency lane to ensure she had not struck a deer crossing the highway.
8:24 p.m.: Spotlighting on private property was reported near Lane 43.

10:35 a.m.: A dead deer was reported in the road in Basin.
2:13 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.
2:27 p.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Greybull.
3:12 p.m.: Deputies participated in community relations at Burlington High School.
3:38 p.m.: A hay bale was reported in the roadway in Greybull.
4:01 p.m.: Lost tires were reported in Emblem.
7:25 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.
7:38 p.m.: An accidental 9-1-1 call was received in Manderson.
10:54 p.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Emblem.
