The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):

November 11 — Officer intiated activity at Basin school.

November 12 — A business check was done at the Overland Express Mart.

Extra patrol was done at the School.

November 13 — Assisted the general public at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office (BHCSO).

A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO.

Basin Police field contact on South Fourth Street.

Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.

A building check was done at the Basin school.

November 14 — Loose dog on South Fourth Street.

A business check was done at Family Dollar.

Extra patrol was done at the Basin School Zone. 

November 15 — A patrol was done at the Basin School Zone.

A business check was done at the Overland Expres Mart.

Two VIN inspections were done at the BHCSO.

Officer initiated a presence at the school for the games

November 16 — A business check was done at the Basin Market.

A business check was done at the Overland Expres Mart.

Extra patrol was done at the School.

November 17 — Dog at large on Lane 42.

A business check was done at the Family Dollar.

A dog was found on North Sixth Street.

A burglar alarm went off on North Sixth Street.

Nov. 11 — 12:30 a.m.: A 9-1-1 hangup was received in Manderson.

8:33 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Manderson.

1:07 p.m.: Larceny was reported in Otto.

2:29 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

7:20 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

Nov. 12 — 8:34 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

9:24 a.m.: Cows were out on the highway in Manderson.

3:26 p.m.: An accidental 9-1-1 call was received in Greybull.

4:35 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Basin. A warning was issued.

5:47 p.m.: A traffic hazard involving a semi-truck in snow was reported in Ten Sleep.

Nov. 13 — 9:26 a.m.: Deputies assisted the general public in Basin.

9:34 a.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Burlington. A warning was issued.

11:27 a.m.: A dog was reportedly at-large in Greybull.

12:22 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Basin.

12:55 p.m.: An injured antelope was reported in Basin.

3:06 p.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

4:56 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Basin. A warning was issued.

5:08 p.m..: Deputies made field contact in Basin.

5:11 p.m.: Deputies assisted another agency.

5:19 p.m.: A traffic hazard was reported in Basin.

5:26 p.m.: Deputies participated in community relations in Basin.

5:36 p.m.: A traffic hazard was reported in Greybull.

6:11 p.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

7:14 p.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Basin.

Nov. 14 — 12:13 a.m.: Deputies conducted a business check in Greybull.

9:07 a.m.: A VIN inspection occurred in Basin.

12:27 p.m.: A trespass violation was reported in Basin.

2:47 p.m.: An abandoned vehicle was reported in Basin.

5:00 p.m.: Dulcie Kate VanVoorhis was arrested and charged on the following counts: failure to register as a sex offender, a sex offender residing within 1000 feet of a school, and bond violations. 

11:55 p.m.: An extra patrol was conducted in Greybull.

Nov. 15 — 11:58 a.m.: A trespasser was reported in Greybull.

12:56 p.m.: A 9-1-1 hangup was received in Burlington.

1:03 p.m.: Deputies responded to a civil matter.

4:33 p.m.: Sheep were on the highway in Greybull.

5:39 p.m.: An accident involving a vehicle and a sheepdog occurred in Greybull.

6:12 p.m.: A traffic complaint was received in Manderson.

8:42 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.

10:50 p.m.: A black cow was on the highway in Basin.

Nov. 16 — 10:05 a.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.

12:28 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop in Greybull. A warning was issued.

7:26 p.m.: An extra patrol was conducted in Greybull.

Nov. 17 — 12:08 a.m.: Cows were on the road in Greybull.

12:12 a.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist in Manderson.

2:06 a.m.: Deputies assisted another agency in Greybull.

8:40 a.m.: Deputies responded to a structure fire in Emblem.

10:20 a.m.: A dog was reportedly at-large in Basin.

10:37 a.m.: A vehicle with front-end damage was reportedly off the road in Emblem.

11:17 a.m.: Deputies assisted the general public in Greybull.

1:44 p.m.: Cows were on the highway in Basin.

2:31 p.m.: An accident with property damage occurred in Manderson.

4:10 p.m.: Deputies assisted another agency in Basin.

4:31 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of abandoned dogs in Shell.
