• Police Report
The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
July 6 — An officer assisted the Manderson Police Department at West Railway Street.
An officer assisted another agency on First Avenue South.
Suspicious circumstances involving a possible attempted scam were reported on North Eighth Street.
July 7 —An officer provided information at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s office (BHCSO).
An officer assisted the Greybull Police Department at K Bar Motel on Greybull Avenue.
July 9 — A gas leak occurred on Big B Drive when a gas meter was hit.
An officer assisted another agency with an ambulance on North Seventh Street.
July 10 — A scam was reported on South Fourth Street.
July 11 — A domestic animal incident involving a dog at large was reported on South Fourth Street.
July 12 — A trespassing incident was reported on South Ninth Street. Subjects in a silver truck were reported speeding and spinning out before allegedly entering the swimming pool without permission. A warning was issued.

July 6 - 12:46 a.m.: A R.E.D.D.I. report was made on Highway 20 South in Basin, cleared by patrol.
1:37 a.m.: An officer assisted a motorist on Highway 30 in Otto.
11:06 a.m.: An assault was reported to Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office on Murphy Street in Basin.
11:37 a.m.: A caller expressed a need for cat food; dispatch handled the call.
2:13 p.m.: A dead cat was reported found on a front porch on Sixth Avenue North in Greybull.
7:07 p.m.: A suspicious vehicle was reported at Shell Community Hall on Smith Avenue in Shell.
10:08 p.m.: A citation was issued in a traffic stop on Highway 14 in Greybull.
July 7 - 10:43 a.m.: A civil standby was requested on Road 35.5 in Shell as the reporting party locked their headgate.
11:27 a.m.: Officers were unable to locate the subject of a traffic complaint on Highway 20 South in Manderson.
3:13 p.m.: Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office dispatch assisted Washakie County.
4:58 p.m.: A stolen gun was reported on Highway 31 in Manderson.
9:28 p.m.: BHCSO assisted Greybull Police Department with a disturbance at the K Bar Motel on Greybull Avenue in Greybull.
9:30 p.m.: BHCSO assisted Greybull PD at the K Bar Motel on Greybull Avenue in Greybull.
July 8 - 7:36 a.m.: A stranded motorist at Sitting Bull Campground on Forest Service Road 432 was referred to another agency.
1:22 p.m.: A dog was reported running on Highway 20 South in Manderson.
3:42 p.m.: An injured animal was reported on Highway 14 in Greybull.
July 9 - 2:29 p.m.: A controlled burn was reported on Road 35.5 in Shell.
5:11 p.m.: BHCSO assisted Basin Police Department and fire department on Big B Drive in Basin.
July 11 - 3:37 p.m.: A black cow was reported out near Highway 433 in Manderson, officers were unable to locate.
11:01 p.m.: A citation was issued in a traffic stop on North Fourth Street in Basin.
July 12 - 10:02 a.m.: A domestic animal problem was reported on Beaver Creek Road in Shell.
11:40 a.m.: Accidental property damage was reported at Highway 14 and Odessa Cemetery Road in Shell where a trailer came of its hitch and went off the road.
4:21 p.m.: Two vehicles were reported speeding through Basin on Highway 30.
8:51 p.m.: BHCSO assisted Basin PD on South Ninth Street in Basin.
ARRESTS
Travis Otto Albrecht of Basin was arrested Friday, July 10 on a misdemeanor bond violation charge, served three days.
