Warm your entire circle with teamwork

“One piece of log creates a small fire, adequate to warm you up, add just a few more pieces to blast an immense bonfire, large enough to warm up your entire circle of friends; needless to say, that individuality counts but teamwork dynamites.”

A wonderful chamber luncheon last week. Delicious chili and cornbread from the Copper Corner. Lorilyn Beck from Eagle Rock Financial spoke during the roundup portion of the meeting. She mentioned that she goes to a lot of chamber meetings throughout the Bighorn Basin. She also said that this chamber’s meetings have helped grow her business and helped her make connections she might not have made otherwise. This is a direct reflection on our wonderful members who want to support other members. It is the members that make the chamber work.

• Basin REC: Oct. 31, Trunk or Treat at Basin Town Hall parking lot starting at 6 p.m. Cheer program starts Oct. 20. Practice is Mondays 6:30-7:30 p.m. 

• Basin Area Food Bank/Salvation Army: Thanksgiving food basket drive on now.
