UW Extension to offer Gardening 101 with Emmett

The University of Wyoming Extension office in Basin has partnered with Successful Gardens owner Gary Emmett to offer a free Gardening 101 class. The 90-minute event will be held on Friday, April 26, at the Burlington Fire Hall from 6:30-8 p.m.
Gardening 101 will cover the importance of soil fertility, dealing with Wyoming soils, composting, and soil additives. The class will end with an “Ask Your Professional Gardener” Q&A session with Emmett.
