“The secret to happiness is to be as weird as you like. The wrong people will leave the party, but the right ones will join the dance.” Borrowed from Wende Criss Crowe’s Facebook page.

Rejoice. This is the second-to-last Chamber Chat nagging you to get your fair parade entries in for the Aug. 1 Big Horn County Fair parade. Prizes for 1, 2 and 3. Three judges needed on Aug. 1, 9:45 a.m. in front of the chamber on C Street. Entries will be judged on how best they incorporate the theme of the 2026 fair. The theme is “Where 250 years of stories come together.” If you would like to judge, contact Barbara Anne Greene at 307-568-2458.

Big Horn County Fair events started this week with horse fun day, the cat show and the dog show. Next week is full of events. The fair is a true community event with many things to do for those of us of all ages. You don’t have to have a kid showing at the fair to come. Free stage acts, food vendors, free breakfast, quilt show, displays, grandstand events, etc. Wear your red, white and blue as we celebrate the semi-quincentennial.

Thank you, MTR Ranch Supply, for your chamber membership. Welcome aboard as well True North.
