Sheriff's Report

The following calls were received by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office: (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the Court:
Feb. 5 — 6:43 a.m.: Deputies assisted the general public at Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office in Basin.
10:09 a.m.: Deputies at BHCSO handled a rapid 911 call.
11:44 a.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted another agency in Great Falls, Mont.
12:06 p.m.: Deputies took information from an individual concerned about a dog on their property on Lane 43 in Big Horn County.
1:24 p.m.: Deputies on Lane 39 in Otto responded to a trespassing issue when a “No Trespassing” sign was torn down.
1:26 p.m.: On Highway 14/16/20 in Greybull, deputies assisted the general public with a traffic control request.
4:56 p.m.: Deputies responded to a traffic hazard of a cattle truck blocking a lane on Highway 20 South in Basin.
5:30 p.m.: Deputies on Center Street in Basin assisted Cody PD.
9:20 p.m.: At Paintrock Lodge on Forest Service Road 322 in Hyattville, deputies assisted Search and Rescue in locating an individual who had not returned from a trip to the mountain. The individual, who was stuck in mud, was safe and sound.
Feb. 6 — 8:31 a.m.: Deputies assisted a motorist who was out of gas on Highway 20 South in Manderson.
10:25 a.m.: Deputies on Boulder Street/West Poplar Avenue in Burlington responded to an abandoned vehicle.
12:38 p.m.: On North Sherman Avenue in Manderson, deputies assisted Manderson PD at a disturbance where two individuals were shouting at each other.
1:17 p.m.: Deputies responded to an abandoned vehicle on Highway 32 in Emblem. All was well.
3:11 p.m.: Deputies on North Sixth Street in Greybull initiated a business check at Maverik Country Store.
3:46 p.m.: On South Fifth Street in Greybull, deputies responded to a lost dog.
Feb. 7 — 10:23 a.m.: Deputies initiated a business check at Overland Express Mart on North Fourth Street in Basin.
11:56 a.m.: Deputies at BHCSO assisted community relations.
1:56 p.m.: On Highway 20 South in Basin, deputies responded to a fire alarm at Three Rivers Health. It was a false alarm.
6:33 p.m.: Deputies responded to a vehicular accident with a deer on Highway 31 in Manderson.
6:56 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 20 South in Basin initiated a traffic stop.
Feb. 8 — 8:35 a.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted community relations.
5:01 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 20/Lane 39 in Greybull. A citation was issued.
Feb. 9 — 1:40 p.m.: Deputies at BHCSO assisted the general public.
2:39 p.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted another agency in Natrona County.
4:01 p.m.: Deputies assisted Washakie County Sheriff’s Office at BHCSO.
7:34 p.m.: Deputies on Highway 20 South in Basin advised a 911 call at Wyoming Retirement Center.
8:07 p.m.: On South Third Street in Greybull, deputies assisted Greybull PD at a domestic dispute.
10:11 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 20 South in Greybull. A warning was issued.
11:46 p.m.: Deputies on North Fifth Street/Greybull Avenue in Greybull assisted Greybull PD.
Feb. 10 — 10:07 a.m.: Sheep were out on Orchard Avenue in Basin.
3:04 p.m.: At BHCSO, deputies assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol.
5:11 p.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop on Highway 20/Greybull River Road in Greybull.
7:04 p.m.: Deputies on Highline Drive in Shell handled an accidental 911 call.
7:14 p.m.: At BHCSO, deputies handled an accidental 911 call.
10:29 p.m.: Deputies responded to a dog hit by a vehicle on Highway 433 in Manderson.
Feb. 11 — 8:03 a.m.: Deputies on Main Street in Burlington responded to an alarm. It was a false alarm.
10:13 a.m.: On Golf Course Road in Basin, deputies responded to a found dog.
11:52 a.m.: Deputies handled an open line 911 call on Highway 14 in Shell.
12:06 p.m.: Cows were out on Orchard Bench Road in Basin.
1:59 p.m.: Deputies on North Sixth Street in Greybull initiated a business check at Maverik Country Store.
7:46 p.m.: On Lane 39 in Basin, deputies assisted a courtesy public works call checking in at Express Pipeline Greybull Pump Station. All was well.
11:06 p.m.: Deputies initiated field contact at Club Dauntless on Highway 20 in Greybull.
