Police Report

The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
May 20 —  A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Wildlife encounter occurred at the Basin Town Hall.
Ordinance violation was given on C Street.
May 21— A welfare check was called in for a friend’s mental health.
A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Two VIN inspections were done at the Big Horn County Sheriffs Office (BHCSO).
Officer inititated activity at South Big Horn Ambulance Bay North Sixth Street.
Assist the general public on West B. Street.
Business check was done at Overland Express.
May 22 — A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Three VIN inspections were done at the BHCSO.

Business check was done at Basin Market.
Business check was done at Family Dollar.
Extra patrol was done at the Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC).
Extra patrol was done at the school.
May 23 — A Basin school zone patrol was done
A K-9 dog search was requested on West G. Street
Extra patrol was done at the school.
May 24 — A corgie dog was seen running around at A Street and South Eighth Street.
Ordinance violation was given onWest B. Street.
A business check was done at the Overland Express.
Officer made contact with a person on West Wyoming Avenue and South Fourth Street.
Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
Ordinance violation was given on North Eighth Street.
May 25 — A business check was done at the Family Dollar.
A traffic complaint was reported on North Fourth Street.
May 26 — A civil matter occurred on South Eighth Street.
