Police Report

The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
April 15 —  A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Extra patrol was done at the boat ramp.
April 16— Lost dogs reported on Matteson Ave.
Officer initiated an agency assist at South Seventh Street.
Scam call occurred on South Fourth Street.
Business check was done at the Overland Express Mart.
Extra patrol was done at the school.
April 17 — A Basin school zone patrol was done.
A VIN inspection was done at the Big Horn County Sheriff Office (BHCSO).
An accident with property damage was done at the Fire Hall on South Third Street.
A VIN inspection was done at the Basin Municipal Court on South Fourth Street.
Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
Extra patrol was done at Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC).
Extra patrol was done at the school.
Extra patrol was done at the Raw Water Pond.
April 18 — Domestic dispute occurred on South Eighth Street, parties separated.
Burglary break in occurred on South Eighth Street.
A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Chickens were reported on A Street.
Citizen complaint of noise on South Fifth Street.
April 19 — Officer initiated community relations at the school.
Ordiance violation at Basin Police Department.
Property Damage occurred on North Seventh Street.
Ordinance violation of a neighbor dispute on South Eighth Street.
Officer assisted stranded motorist at the Basin Post office.
A VIN inspection was done at South Sixth Street.
April 20— Ordinance violation was enforced on South Ninth Street.
Ordinance violation was enforced on South Tenth Street.
Two ordinance violation were enforced on South Eighth Street.
Ordinance violation was enforced on South Fifth Street.
Two ordinance violation were enforced North Seventh Street.
Two business checks were done at Overland Express Mart.
Extra patrol was done at the school.
Officer went to a disturbance in the area of Henderson Park on North Seventh Street.
Extra patrol was done at WRC.
April 21 — Loose chickens were reported on A Street.
Chicken ordinance enforcement was initiated on South Eighth Street.
April 22 — A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Business check was done at Basin Market.
A traffic complaint was called on U.S. Highway16/20 South.
General public assist on East Wyoming Avenue.
Extra patrol was done at the school.
April 23 —  A Basin school zone patrol was done.
Business check was done at Family Dollar.
Officer assisted the general public at the BCHSO.
Public works call for water leak on East B Street and South Third Street.
Extra patrol was done at WRC.
April 24 — Three VIN inspections were done at the BHCSO.
Officer assisted the general public at the Town Hall.
Extra patrol was done at the Mountain View Cemetery.
Extra patrol was done at the school.
April 25 — A Basin school zone patrol was done.
A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO.
Officer assisted the general public at the BHCSO.
A dog was found at Henderson Field on North Seventh Street.
April 26 — Resident called about two dogs at large on North Eighth Street that may go after her chickens.
A VIN inspection was done at the BHCSO.
Business check was done at Valley Hardware.
Business check was done at Basin Pharmacy.
Officer responded to a disturbance on South Eighth.
Nathan Carl Wylie of Basin was booked into the detention center for aggravated assault and battery.
April 27 — Officer assisted the general public on South Sixth Street.
Resident found an item and took it to BHCSO.
Extra patrol was done at the school.
April 28 — Business check was done at Overland Express Mart.
Officer initiated community relations at First Baptist Chuch.
Extra patrol was done at the school.
Business check was done at Basin Town Hall.
