The annual pink game between the Riverside Rebels and the Greybull Buffs was held last Tuesday at Greybull High School. Both teams have come together for this event to support a person or family in need who is dealing with cancer.

All proceeds from donations or T-shirts purchased at this event from TK2 Design owned by Talysa Klein are going to the family of Greybull’s Wyatt Didrickson. A 2025 graduate of Greybull High School, he is currently being treated in Seattle.

The Riverside Lady Rebels fought hard but were unable to secure a win against the Buffs. The Rebels lost in 3 sets, 25-14, 25-19, and 25-15.

“The pink match is a great opportunity for our communities to come together for a great cause. It is always nice to see everyone’s generosity supporting this even,” said Coach Cindi Smith. “The results of the Greybull match weren’t what we hoped for. However, we are focused on taking all experiences and utilizing them to learn and grow.”

“We are working on our serve receive, eliminating hesitations and staying confident in our abilities. It is also essential for us to find ways to better the ball. Making good decisions on our attack so we eliminate unforced errors is important for our success at this point in the season.”
