PEO Chapter AN was People’s Choice at the BCAC Festival of Trees

   The PEO Chapter AN of Basin’s gnome tree won the People’s Choice award at the Festival of Trees on Saturday, sponsored by the Basin City Arts Center. 

Second place went to Basin Pharmacy’s “Christmas Knits Our Heart.” The ornaments and tree skirt were knit by Camilla Jones Hancock. Basin’s Market placed third with their “Nightmare Before Christmas.” 

Carmen Olson from the Arts Center said that over 200 visitors came to see the 13 trees and 12 other items donated for the silent auction. Those included Diamond Paintings and a handmade wooden jewelry box. “It was another successful Festival of Trees.”
