Letter to the Editor: Senator clarifies statement about Freedom Caucus

Dear editor: 

I would like to address a statement I made in a story that ran in the Basin Republican Rustler and Greybull Standard last week. The statement was that the Wyoming Freedom Caucus had pledged $30,000 to each house race in Wyoming. That is what I was told by several very reliable individuals. Since then I have been unable to substantiate this. So in the spirit of transparency, I would like your readers to know this. I apologize for not verifying the information before sharing it. When I can substantiate the information, I will reissue the statement.
