Keep those pop/can tabs coming
What are you doing today that will make a difference for someone else tomorrow?
Today’s quote is a great segue into reminding you that we are continuing to collect can tabs from pop, cat/dog food, soups, vegetables, etc. Jeff McManus brought to our attention that the tabs may be donated to nonprofits like Ronald McDonald House, Shriners, etc. The tabs are high quality aluminum and recyclable.
We have the coolest SWAG bags from Road 10 T-shirts & More. We are filling the bags with items from local businesses: Big Horn County stickers, Queen Bee honey sticks, a BHCED conservation book, tea from Wyoming Buffalo Company, water bottles from Weed & Pest, pens, etc. You get the gist. If you have promotional items (pens, stickers, etc.) or packaged food items (shelf stable) with your business name on them, like jerky, cookies, etc., please get them to us by Feb 25. The bags will be given to our five state elected officials during my trip to Cheyenne at the end of this month.
Thank you to those who reached out to sit on the 250th anniversary celebration of the U.S.A. committee. Read more about the committee this week in the Big Horn County newspapers. We are looking for ideas on what the county can do for the yearlong celebration in 2026. You can email those ideas to basinchamber@gmail.com
