Human Kind(ness)
The past few months I have been traveling quite a bit for work and pleasure. During my travels I have had the opportunity to meet people from several different areas of the United States.
I have seen firsthand the courtesy of strangers and the small acts of kindness they performed when they thought no one was watching. I have seen the presence of love in families and the fondness of friends. Why is this so spectacular you may ask?
In our small communities, we have the luxury of close-knit families and knowing our neighbors and while there seems to be an abundance of “ugliness” broadcast in the media it was refreshing to see that even outside of our Big Horn County “bubble” there is proof of good in the world and no matter how much doom and gloom we may hear about there is still hope for humanity.
During my most recent trip to Utah this past weekend, I think the message I saw displayed on a young woman’s T-shirt was a perfect reminder to all of us just how we can do our part in making this world a better place no matter where we live. “Be Kind.”
