Holiday wishes to all from BHCSD #4

As we enter this joyful and heartwarming time of year, I want to extend the warmest holiday wishes to every family, student, staff member, and community partner across Big Horn County School District No. 4.

December is always a special season—one filled with anticipation, generosity and the kind of excitement that only children can truly bring to life. There is nothing quite like walking through our schools in December. From the youngest preschoolers to our oldest students, the energy is contagious. You can see it in their bright eyes, their eager conversations about family traditions, shopping trips, and of course, the upcoming holidays. For many of our students, especially our youngest learners, this is one of the most magical times of the year. Their excitement reminds us of the wonder and joy that comes with the holiday season.

I especially loved our school Christmas concerts. These performances are always a highlight, not only because of the talent our students display, but also because of the incredible effort behind the scenes. Our music teacher works tirelessly to help students prepare, practice, and perfect each song. Teachers and support staff make sure that things go smoothly. Families pack our school beaming with pride, and community members join in to support and celebrate our young people.

These concerts are a beautiful reminder of the unity and warmth that define our district. Equally impressive is the dedication of our staff who transform classrooms and hallways into festive, joy-filled spaces. From holiday trees to dinosaur decorations, themed bulletin boards, lights, artwork, and cozy reading corners, our schools become places where the spirit of the season shines in every corner. This work requires creativity, effort, and a deep commitment to making school a joyful place for students—something our staff consistently deliver with heart.

As we prepare to close out the year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Bighorn County School District #4 community. Your support, involvement, and care make our schools strong. Whether you volunteer, attend events, help with homework, or cheer from the stands, you are an essential part of the success and well-being of our students.

On behalf of our school board, administrators, and staff, I wish each of you a peaceful, joyful, and family-filled holiday season. May your homes be filled with warmth, your hearts with gratitude, and your days with moments of connection and celebration.

Happy Holidays and best wishes for a wonderful New Year!
