Greybull plans a July 4 party
After being rained out last year, Greybull’s Fourth of July celebration is back on for next Thursday evening. The event packs its usual punch, with festivities starting at 6 p.m.
Otro Taco will be selling food.
Music will be provided by Rattlesnake Ridge.
The drawing for the gun raffle is planned for 9 p.m. Tickets are still available at $10 apiece, $30 for five, $100 for 20. Contact Mayor Myles Foley if you’d like to purchase one.
The first-place prize in the gun raffle is a Tikka 73x 7mm with Leupold scope, second is a Weatherby Orion O/U 12 gauge, and third is a Ruger LCP .380 ACP.
The fireworks show will begin at 10 p.m.
Elsewhere in south Big Horn County:
• In Basin, fireworks may be set off on private property only on July 4, noon to midnight.
• In Manderson, the Hi Way Cafe and Bar is planning a public fireworks show starting at 10 p.m.
