Grants from Wyoming Arts Council & State Parks open

Headed out this week for a State Parks Commission meeting in Evanston. Thought it was a good time to share grant information from Wyoming Arts Council and Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Trust.
The Wyoming Arts Council is now accepting applications in three grant categories: the Creative Aging Project Grant, the Professional Development/Career Advancement Grant, and the Arts Access Project Grant. The Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources is now accepting applications for the 2026 Non-Motorized Recreational Trails Program (RTP). Pre-applications are due Sept. 1, 2025, and full applications must be submitted no later than Oct. 1, 2025. • UW Extension - August 31 Wellness & Creativity in the Wild will be held in Hyattville from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This wellness retreat, including lunch, is free, except for the painting class with Ranger Katie Singleton ($22), which starts at 2:00 p.m.
• Basin Community Complex/Basin Rec: Youth Soccer in September Tuesdays and Thursdays at Henderson Park. Starts at 6 p.m. $10 per child.
