Clayton Draggoo is no longer the owner of the Atwood Family Funeral Directors locations at 419 and 421 West C Street in Basin and 620 Greybull Ave. in Greybull.

Coastline JX Holdings took possession of the properties Thursday morning as the locks were changed and its attorney inspected the premises with former owner Del Atwood, who sold them to Draggoo.

Janie Ruppert, of Ruppert Legal LLC in Cheyenne, said it’s premature to say what Coastline would do with the properties.

“I have no idea at this point in time,” Ruppert said.

Taped to the front door of the Greybull property was a Writ of Restitution, detailing the transfer of ownership to Coastline JX Holdings LLC.

Court document filed in Big Horn County Circuit Court indicate that Draggoo, as sole manager of White Line Real Estate LLC, used the properties to secure a commercial loan, which was was transferred from Pacific Western Bank to Banc of California in November 2023.

When Draggoo defaulted, the Banc of California foreclosed, prompting the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a foreclosure sale Oct. 15, 2025. The Banc of California was the high bidder.

On Jan. 16, 2026, the sheriff’s office issued a sheriff’s deed, conveying the properties to Banc of California.

Less than a month later, on Feb. 10, the Banc of California conveyed the properties to Coastline JX Holdings, which is based in California.

According to county records, the 0.16-acre property at 620 Greybull Ave. is 7,000 square feet and was built in 1940.   The two properties in Basin total 0.2 acres; each features mortuary space along with a garage.

White Line Real Estate is still the listed owner of 6 acres in the Greybull Business Park, where Draggoo built and operated a crematorium.

And as of Monday, his funeral service practitioner license was active, according to Kylie Dorr, executive director of the Wyoming State Board Funeral Services Practitioners.

Dorr said if individuals have questions regarding funeral arrangements that may have already been made, they are welcome to contact the Professional Licensing Board’s office directly at 307-777-5403.

“We will assist them as best we can,” Dorr said.
