Free Christmas lights for Basin residents, businesses

“Do not focus too much on things that make you sad. There are so many things that can make you happy.”

Thanks to all who put their Christmas lights up in Basin before Home for the Holidays. We are still hoping to see more lights on the buildings/homes on C Street and Fourth Street. If you need Christmas lights to help light up your basin business or home, the chamber has some to share. Just stop by and we will hook you up.

Congrats to the Big Horn Co-op-Basin for first place in the lighted Christmas parade. Second went to Liberty Ranch Campground. Third place was a tie between the United Methodist Church and Friends of the Basin Library.

A huge thank you to Pauline Parker, who brought a bit of Burlington’s Whoville to the chamber and newspaper offices. Walk or drive by to see the cuteness she made. The one in front of the chamber has the schedule of the town of Burlington celebration on Saturday.

We are still collecting tabs from soda cans, canned goods, etc. Thank you to everyone who has brought some in.

The Christmas Bazaar and Little Shoppers is Dec. 14, 9 a.m. at the fairgrounds.
