Chamber, GOP sponsoring Big Horn County candidate forum Friday in Basin

The chamber is co-sponsoring with the Big Horn County GOP a candidate forum on August 7 at the Basin Rec building (old High School Gym). The chamber is not endorsing a party or a candidate. We are co-sponsoring to remind people to be informed voters. 

The forum will feature Big Horn County office seekers including Sheriff, Commissioner, and Coroner. The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with those running for county offices unopposed. Clerk, Clerk of District Court, County Attorney, Treasurer and Assessor. An ice cream social will follow at 7:45 p.m.

Congratulations to parade entry winners. First place went to American Legion Post 32 in Greybull. Second place went to Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site. Third went to MTR Ranch Supply. 

The next chamber member meeting is August 13 at noon. Lunch will be provided. (What, I don’t know, but it will be provided.)
