CARES to reopen office in Lovell

Crisis and Referral Emergency Service (CARES) of Big Horn County has announced plans to re-establish an office presence in north Big Horn County.

Director Luz Rios said CARES will assign a member of its team to staff an office at the Lovell Annex Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

CARES hasn’t had an office on the north end of the county for approximately two years, she said.

“It’s very important that we cover the north side because a lot of people don’t have the ability to come to Basin and we want to make it easy for whoever needs our help,” said Rios.

She credited the county commissioners for allowing CARES to carve out a place for itself at the annex.

The hours of the south-end office in Basin will not change; they remain Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
