Burlington’s Trap Shooting team completed Week 4 last week and held strong in their 4th place spot in Conference 2, with a total of 675.50. “The athletes are staying consistent,” said Coach Nate Kreider. “Once again the top four shooters are changing spots with each other.”

The top 4 for Burlington was Chase Allen 45-50, Kole Walker 43-50, Parker Cook 41-50 and Casey Nelson 40-50. Just missing that 4th spot was Chute Cauffman who shot 39-50. Allen and Walker are currently tied in 10th place in the Top 25 of Conference 2. Cook is in 18th place and Nelson in 20th place. On the female side, Ava Wennberg moved up and is tied in 9th place.

“Next week will be our last competition and it will be interesting to see who ends up on top as our top shooter. The top 4 from this week consistently changed places each week and are extremely close in average scores for the season,” said Kreider.
