The Huskies spent Friday at the Jamboree in Farson.
“Overall, the Jamboree was a good experience for us,” said Coach Trent Aagard. “We got to look at a lot of kids in different situations. Farson, Dubios, Encampment and Riverside were there and we got to play each of them in some capacity.
“It seemed like everyone was playing things close to the vest, but it was still a good time for us to scrimmage against someone else.”
While no scores or stats were kept, the Huskies had some big takeaways.
“We were able to identify some things we need to work on as we prepare for LSR this week, so it will be good to be moved onto a more structured game week schedule,” said Aagard. “I think everyone comes away from these early contests and has a long list of things to work on. We are hoping to see a lot of growth from this week to the next.”
Burlington will face Little Snake River on Saturday in Baggs with kickoff at 1 p.m.
