Basin Food Pantry Ham Drive December 16

The Basin Area Food Pantry/Salvation Army are collecting hams for their Christmas basket giveaway. Please bring donation hams to the back door of the chamber, Dec. 16, 4 – 6 p.m. Small to medium hams are the greatest need. If you would like to donate ham(s) earlier than Dec. 16, please call Charlene Anderson or Lori Thon. 

The pantry along with Security State Bank is also hosting an adopt a Christmas basket drive. SSB bags with a shopping list for a meal to feed a family of four are in the bags. The bags may be picked up at SSB or Basin’s Market. Please return the filled bags to SSB, Basin’s Market or the Basin Area Chamber by Dec. 16. The bags and hams will be given out Dec. 20 starting at 9 a.m. on a first-come first-serve basis. There is no list. 

Please keep in mind that the bags are for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. A gracious donation from the Wyoming Hunger Initiative to the Basin Food Pantry helps provide food for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets.
