Basin City Arts Center hosts Roger Lee Concert Sunday

The doors of the Basin City Art Center open at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 17 for a concert. Performing is Roger Lee.  

Lee’s story is not your traditional musician story. He began musical journey later in life after a medical scare when diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. While being treated he began playing a guitar he had for years. It was something he never made time for in the past. 

Practicing became part of his daily routine, and he stuck with it. Now 11 years later (almost to the day when he performs in Basin), Lee is playing a variety of venues. 

He never had a plan to perform in public. He said it just happened and has been growing consistently like a snowball going downhill. Concert goers will hear a variety of music with a strong foundation in ‘70s and ‘80s country as well as Lee’s own originals.
