Adelaide “Adi” JoAnn Jares

Adelaide “Adi” JoAnn Jares came into this world with a fighting spirit unimaginable by most on Aug. 11, 2026, at 1lb 7oz. Though her time here was far too short, Adi left a mark on everyone who had the privilege of meeting her. Her 18 days on this earth were full of love and pure joy. We will miss her snuggles, smiles, and feistiness more than words can explain. She passed away in the arms of her devoted parents on Aug. 29, 2026. 

Adi is survived by her loving parents Cassie and Jared Jares of Basin, Wyo. Aunts and Uncles Katrina and Tate Edeler of Greybull, Wyo., Megan and Nathan Adels of Gillette, Wyo., Kris and Shantae Klatt of Cloquet, Minn., and Kyle and Anika Klatt of Largo, Fla. Grandparents Ken and Marcia Klatt of Cloquet, Minn. and Deb and LeRoy Zinda of Manderson, Wyo. Great Grandparents Harry and Kathy Deveraux of Basin, Wyo. Cousins Cord and Tell Edeler and Emma and Thad Adels. 

Adi is preceded in death by her uncle JJ Jares, Great Grandparents James and Ann Powers, Marjorie and Oliver “Arlie” Liestman. 

Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial account has been set up at Security State Bank (Adelaide JoAnn Jares Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 531, Basin WY 82410)
