‘Shrek, The Musical’ auditions to be held early next week in Greybull

Auditions have been set for Greybull’s fall musical which is going to be “Shrek, the Musical.”

“There are a lot of parts available,” said Em Wilson, who will direct the show.

Auditions will be held Aug. 25, Aug. 26 and Aug. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. each night.

Auditions will be open house-style; folks only have to show up once and only long enough to sing and read. “We will furnish the readings, but the audition-ees need to bring a prepared piece of music (with their own accompaniment, or perform acapella),” said Wilson. 

The first rehearsal is planned for Sept. 2 at 7 p.m.

The musical will be presented Nov. 20-22 at the GHS auditorium.
