Riverside Rebels head to State Meet in Casper May 21- May 23

The Riverside Rebels competed in the two-day regional meet in Shoshoni this weekend and came away with several more state qualifiers along with a number of strong performances.

Paul Stone led the way with a 2nd place finish in the long jump (19-3.5) and a 3rd place finish in the triple jump (41-1.5), qualifying for state in both events. 

Cade Bell also had a great meet, placing 2nd in the shot put (44-10.5) and 8th in discus (126-11). The boys 4 x 800 relay team added a great performance with a 4th place finish (10:54.40), while Ariel Cordova earned 7th in the 3200 meters (12:41.20).

Varissa Olsen had an outstanding weekend, finishing 2nd in the shot put (31-10.25) and 3rd in discus (104-3). The girls 4x100 relay team also placed 3rd with a time of 55.78, adding another state qualification for the Rebels. 

 Mari Pratt continued her strong season with a 4th place finish in the 400 meters (1:05.52). While Annabelle Brown placed 7th in the 100 meters (14.63). Hadley Hopkin added two top eight finishes, taking

6th place in the discus (84-9) and 7th in the shot put (28-6).
