Police Report
The following calls were received by the Basin Police Department last week (Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney):
January 8— A business check was done at the Overland.
January 9 — An officer assisted the public at the Riverside Middle School.
Two VIN inspections were done at the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office (BHCSO).
A dog was found at the post office.
Extra patrol was done at the Wyoming Retirement Center (WRC).
A motorist was assisted at Saam’s Vet Clinic.
Extra patrol was done at the schools on West B Street.
January 10 — A REDDI report was received from the Maverick in Greybull.
At the Big Horn County Library, a vehicle was abandoned.
Extra patrol was done at Mount View Cemetery.
January 11 — A school zone patrol was done.
Information was received for an ongoing larceny case.
An officer assisted another agency.
A dog was hit on Big Horn Avenue.
Extra patrol was done at the WRC.
January 12 — A person on South Sixth Street asked to speak to an on-duty officer.
Extra patrol was done at the WRC.
A business check was done at Basin’s Market.
A welfare check was on North Seventh Street.
Extra patrol was done at the Basin Boat Ramp.
A VIN inspection was done at Washington Park.
A fender bender occurred on Lane 32. No injuries were reported.
January 13 — A fire alarm went off on B Street. There was no fire.
A person on South Fifth Street had a landlord issue.
Extra patrol was done at the WRC.
A business check was done at the Overland.
Extra patrol was done at the schools on West B Street.
January 14 — There was flooding at the elementary school.
A business check was done at the Overland.
