Gathering items for trips to Cheyenne
“We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Headed to Cheyenne for the tourism conference this month. We are working with the Lovell and Greybull chambers on a basket for the silent auction at that conference. Thus far we have Queen Bee candy, a calendar from Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center, tea from Wyoming Buffalo Company, Big Horn County Fair hats, a mug and gift certificate from Bob’s Diner & Bakery and meat sticks from Paintrock Processing. Let the chambers know if you have items to place in the basket.
In February, I’ll head back to Cheyenne for a state parks commissioner meeting. As always, we will take a swag bag with items from Big Horn County. Typically, we fill it with Made-in-Big-Horn-County items such as food and fun stuff.
The business cards from the businesses are included so if the receiver wants to shop from the businesses later, they have the info. If you have pens, stickers, mugs, key chains, koozies, hats, T-shirts, that would be great. We will need five of each item. The bags go to the governor, secretary of state, superintendent of public instruction, auditor and treasurer. It is a great chance to keep our county at the top of their minds when it comes to grants, funding.
Welcome aboard new member, Flying F Sales in Basin. They are located at 206 S. Fourth St. They have a full line of appliances and do vehicle detailing, too. Contact them at 307-272-2978.
Thank you TCT, Bilbrey Business Services, Valley Hardware, Waller Hall Research, Linda and Eric Adams for your chamber membership renewal. As noted in previous emails, it would be helpful if every member could renew this month. The rate can be prorated if your membership in 2024 was in February or later.
