The past few months I have been traveling quite a bit for work and pleasure. During my travels I have had the opportunity to meet people from several different areas of the United States.
I have seen firsthand the courtesy of strangers and the small acts of kindness they performed when they thought no one was watching. I have seen the presence of love in families and the fondness of friends. Why is this so spectacular you may ask?

Apple mishaps

I have been scavenging for apples for applesauce for the last few weeks and have found quite a few friends with trees they are willing to let me pick. I put up a bunch of juice and sauce last week, but since we eat an enormous amount of canned fruit and we were almost out of sauce, I decided to pick some more apples over the weekend.
