Funeral services for Kathleen Mary Shores will be held July 1 at 10 a.m. at the Atwood Family Chapel in Greybull. Kathleen, 82, died June 26 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont.
Kathleen was born Oct. 4, 1927, in Vernal, Utah, the daughter of Eric Adolf and Magdalene Nielsen Cramer. The family moved to Greybull when Kathleen was 7 years old. She received her education in Greybull and graduated from Greybull High School in 1945.
She married Darold Alvin Shores June 6, 1945, in Lovell. She was a hard worker; her family always came first. A good cook, Kathleen was famous for her hot rolls. She loved to dance.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her brother Orin Cramer, sister Marjory Reid and daughter, Kathleen “Kathy Jo” Keller in 1981.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Darold Shores of Greybull; her daughter and son-in-law, Coleen and Jim Fagg of Craig, Colo.; her son, Randy Shores of Greybull; one brother, Darwin Cramer, of Powell; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery in Basin. Donations in Kathleen’s name can be made directly to the South Big Horn Senior Center, 417 S. 2nd St., Greybull, WY 82426.
