Erma Lillian Werbelow Olbricht

Funeral services for Erma Lillian Werbelow Olbricht will be held Saturday, March 27 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Hamilton, Mont. Erma, 88, died March 19 at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane, Wash., of vascular thrombosis.
Erma was born Dec. 13, 1921, in Emblem, the daughter of Martin Herman and Ella Louise Blank Werbelow, the oldest of 15 children.
She married Ernest Henry Olbrict Feb. 4, 1942, in Bridger, Mont. From that union were born seven children.
Erma lived in Emblem from 1921 to 1960. Erma and Ernie owned a general store from 1948 to 1960. She moved to San Jose, Calif., in June 1960 where she worked for Wool’s Packing Company for 25 years.
She was a fantastic cook and loved to bake Angel Food cakes for everyone’s birthdays. She was a great mother and provider, loved by all, and will be deeply missed.
Her father and mother; four brothers, Elmer, Franklin, Melvin and an infant; and her son-in-law Dick Galli preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Larry and Gail Olbricht and Darrel and Diane Olbricht, of Hamilton, and Raymond Olbrich of San Jose; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Marilyn and Ron Bianco and Nancy and Rich Barone of San Jose, Linda Galli and Anita and Rick Davies all of Hamilton; six sisters, four brothers, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Erma’s name can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY, 10001, or American Heart Association, 700 South Ave. W., Suite. D., Missoula, MT 59801 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
