A special 100th birthday celebration

With friends and fellow residents gathered at the Wyoming Retirement Center last Wednesday singing “Happy Birthday,” Annabel “Cookie” Miley said, “I’ve never had so many ‘happy birthdays.’” She, of course, was referring to the many greetings she received at her party that afternoon, not of the 100 birthdays she has celebrated in her life.

Lady Rebels lose close conference game to Shoshoni

“It was not a good weekend,” said Riverside Coach Michael McGuire of his Lady Rebel’s double losses last weekend. The Lady Rams throttled Riverside 43-15 in a game in Big Horn Friday, but the loss to the Lady Blue in Shoshoni, 47-41 Saturday, was the toughest to take.
